Sad Diagnosis for Sen. Ted Kennedy

There was sad news on Sen. Ted Kennedy's condition today. He has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. On Saturday, he suffered a seizure and was hospitalized. No decisions have been made on the course of treatment which would include radiation and/or chemotherapy.

Jack Gray, AC360 Associate Prod. blogged about the only surviving son of Jack and Rose Kennedy. It is a touching account of what the senator and his family mean to many Americans. They are truly our royal family. you can find the blog entry here: http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/05/20/memories-from-kennedy-country/

Our thoughts and prayers are with the senator and his family in this trying time. This family has suffered so much tragedy throughout the years, I don't know how they've survived all the heartache. Yet, they have not only survived it, they've accomplished great things along the way. They've never forgotten their fellow citizens, but have always worked to help those in need.

Please include Sen Ted Kennedy and his family in your prayers in the coming days and weeks. It's now our turn to support this family.
