Anderson in Afghanistan.

Monday's show:

We're in Afghanistan as a new Taliban offensive brings more suicide bombings and more American casualties. Can the Afghan government survive? Tune in tonight at 10 p.m. ET
.

Wow! I didn't see that one coming. Apparently, Anderson is on his way to Afghanistan. So that's why there was no "see you tomorrow".

Last night's program was remarkable, had something for everyone. Imus is now without a radio show as well as his MSNBC simulcast. He met last night with the Rutger's Women's Basketball team and apologized for his remarks. I heard this afternoon they have accepted his apology.

The best part of the show was seeing Mr. Herbert Gettridge is ready for his "little girl". *pause for everyone to go Awww*, to return to their home in New Orleans. The 83 year old has been working on the house since March of 2006, doing most of the work himself. A number of volunteers have pitched in to help him after seeing his story on AC 360. The house just needs curtains and window screens, but Herbert says he can do those even after she's moved in. Isn't he one of the sweetest married guys you know? Their love affair is what we are all looking for. Well, me anyway. So hurry back home Lydia; your man and your house are ready for you! Thanks Anderson for sharing their story with us; it is indeed the stuff that dreams are made of. Our own real life, fairy tale!

Here are some screen captures from Anderson's interview with Herbert Gettridge. Take a look!

Too bad Anderson didn't suprise Herbert with bringing in Mrs. Getridge while they were doing the interview, that would have been cute :-)

That would be cute; wonder if they even thought of it. Unless she's camera shy!
