Thank you to those that emailed me about the previous post!

So I've done some thinking and this is what I've come up with. Andernation will NOT be deleted. It will remain up, I will just have a limited role in it for the time being.

Who knows...maybe one day I can watch CNN and not want to throw something at my tv (I've actually have watched a few times here lately, so I will consider that progress), and actually blog.

I would however like to get back into the graphic portion of the blog, and start to make more Anderson graphics (he's still a nice sight to see!)

To all of you that continue to stop by, THANKS! I'd also like to ask for your patience as we're making the transition of trying to get everything sorted out.

What we have here, is a failure to communicate...

Hey folks. Once again my apologies for the lack of content on the blog. Life is hectic for everyone, and well like the title states there has been a lack of communication on my part with the other contributors (due to various reasons which aren't important.)

But I wanted everyone to know that I have not even thought about closing the blog down (I would HATE for it to come to that) I really felt like this was one of the few "drama free" blogs out there in the Anderson Cooper community, and has always been open to both consenting and dissenting opinion about the topic at hand.

I'm open to suggestions for the blog, if people WANT it to stay up and running (which I hope is the case) then it will.

Also, if there is anyone that has free time and would like to join the team, let me know! (I'm huge on team work and would love to get a great group of people to help revamp the blog and get it back up and running) I would really like to have individuals that can focus on one aspect of the blog. For example, people specifically geared to graphics, people specifically geared to AC360, a person that can focus on picture of the week and random anderson polls, as well as picture of the months, etc.

If you want to express your concerns, suggestions, and comments on the entry go for it, but if you feel the need to express them in a more private manner just use my contact table to send me a message.

I hope everything can work out and we can get this blog back to where it was when it first opened.

Just a few thoughts...

So it's pretty obvious that Anderson doesn't like covering the Paris Hilton "news" *gasps...did she really just mention that name?!* lol, sorry folks, I had to throw in a little sarcasm.

After watching the Larry King Lives interview, I have to admit that I actually enjoyed it. I felt that she really wants to try and do some good, and hopefully she will follow through with her promises. I just hope she chooses legit organizations to help people, and not just those that will "bribe" her to endorse their organization. So I guess what I wanted to say is, can't we just give her the benefit of the doubt, and for all of you out there that dont' believe her, I'm going to at least give her the chance until she proves me wrong.

So, here's your chance to be "disappointed" in me, I know I know...such a shame! I haven't been too impressed with CNN or 360 for that matter for a couple of months now. It's just been little tidbits here and there that just get to me. I can sit here and watch for an hour, then get up and feel like I just wasted my time. Is this bad? I don't think so, I guess it's just a preference of mine that has changed.

For instance, and I beg please do not throw anything at me thus resulting in damage to your computer screen, I can not be held responsible for that :) Even though the Paris Hilton stories weren't "news worthy" I didn't like the fact that Anderson didn't want to say her name. I felt it was a tad unprofessional; you may not agree with everything that a person does, or for that matter your boss, but you still have to do what they ask and do it well. I'm not sure if that makes much sense, but that's just my 2 cents on the issue.

On a different note, I wanted to throw out a new idea for the blog. I don't know how many of you out there like to debate, but I thought we could throw out some interesting issues and get opinions on them, of course agreeing to disagree. I'm not sure if "major" controversial issues should be debated, because I've personally found out that many people can get very upset over them, and I do want to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, but maybe topics from our nations history for example. If you have any suggestions feel free to contact us!!

Just to touch base....

Well folks I just wanted to touch base with everyone, and well now that the NBA post season is over, I should be able to devote much more time to the blog!!! I will post at least one NBA post (I haven't really done that this post season!!) To highlight the great journey my Spurs had this post season, and then the blog should take flight on some new ideas I have that hopefully Chris and I can just turn this blog around and make in one of the BEST Anderblogs out there!!! So if you have any suggestions as to what you would like to see please let us know!!!

Update part 2

Hey folks, well I went to my doctor's appointment to have my stitches removed, and also got the results back from my test.

Turns out, that it was a mole that was predisposed to melanoma; but everything is okay, since we removed it, all I have to do is make sure to be aware of changes like the one I had. Yay for good news!!

It's crazy to think how a little mole could possibly change your life forever, so do yourself a favor and make sure to notice little changes in your skin, and health. If anyone has any questions please message me :)

Random stuff

Hey everyone so my procedure went really well, really easy and fast; now I just have to wait on my results. I think the fact that I had never had any type of procedure done was making me nervous, but it's all over and done with, just have to go back in a week to get my stitches out :)

Good Morning Anderfolk!

Good Morning Anderfolk! It's bright and early (well for me at least) here in Texas, and I just wanted to drop in before work and let everyone know of a new project that I am working on.

Many of you have expressed suggestions to Andernation (and for that I am very grateful) all of your suggestions are great, and very creative! One suggestion was to make a calendar including the picture of the months.

So, look forward to a downloadable, printable calendar in the next week plus of minus a day or two (definately due out before the end of January so you can use the month lol).

A new year, a new beginning

Ok so over my short little break from the blog, I've decided that I'm still going to keep the blog up (I forgot to mention the fact that I was going to consider whether or not Andernation should be kept up and running) It didn't take me all that long to come to my decision but I did have to go back and think..."why did I start this blog in the first place?"

So, with the new year already up and running, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have kept visiting and participating with Andernation! It is because of YOU that I want to keep this project up.

This will definately be a test for me, multi-tasking, and being able to keep up with a hectic schedule I like to call school and work, but it's a challeng I'm willing to take on full force! I don't like to quit anything, so, I'm ready!

Sad News

Hey Anderfans, just a heads up that I will no longer be able to send Andervids out to people. All the vids had to be removed due to the stress it was putting on my computer and I didn't have enough storage to hold them all, and to make matters worse I basically had to start all over on my computer....BUT I was able to save the Anderpics so no worries there.

Anywho, hope everyone is having a great day, Happy Holiday's everyone!

Good morning Anderworld!! (wow, I haven't blogged and been able to say that in while!!) Anywho, I missed 360 all together last night, I wasn't even able to catch the repeat! (I found out I had practice at 6am today) So anywho, I won't even be able to catch the show tonight! (no dvds, and practice in the morning)

With that in mind,if anyone would like to come aboard the Andernation blog, get in touch with me. I'm looking for someone who has the time to watch the show, and blog about it...think of it as being a correspondent, and "AC360" is the subject of all your stories. That way, there will be more Ander-related content on the blog, instead of my just rambling off sometimes.

Hey everyone, I just upgraded some features on the blog to make it more convienent for everyone. Since school has started, and college life is so hectic, it's much easier for me to run one blog instead of multiple ones, but I do understand that since this started off primarily as an Anderson Cooper blog that it's hard to keep up with all the post that just have to deal with Anderson. So if you check out the right hand side of my blog you will find an extensive list of "labels" that you can click on and it will take you to all the post with that specific tag. I tried to make anything Anderson related start with "Ander" to put them at the beginning of the list. All post have been labeled hopefully to make it easier on you, the reader, to find what you are interested in reading.

Please feel free to contact me for any suggestions, comments, or questions about this change.

I want to first start off saying I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I myself got out of working tonight and I'm about to start painting my room haha. Anywho, on to the updates.

With Summer up and running, many of you may or may not be planning some vacations. If you are and dont really know where to get away to, maybe you should think about going down to help the cities devastated by Katrina. Everyone is buzzing around the interview Anderson conducting with Angelina Jolie. I loved the interview, for many reasons, one being that it was real. Jolie spoke from her heart, and you can tell she isn't one of the celebrities that just join a cause to make them look better.

Last nights show was very good. I really needed a good pick-me-upper, and what do you know AC came through!! I think he has to know how us Anderfans love the "mmmm ___" because he's always doing it!!! "MMMM chocolate" which is still my all time favorite inspiration for an image and icon (with "I think I like the naughty chair" running very close behind!!) and who could forget, "mmmm heartburn" or "mmmm spice" I just love the "mmmm
s" and I'm thinking "mmm Anderson...." *puts head down and heads for the naughty chair*

New Anderfan Site!!!!

FUNHOUSE GRAND OPENING!
There is a new Anderson fansite opening today that has something for every Anderfan. There are CNN/Anderson related crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles of your favorite anchor, quizzes, a snarky eight ball and so much more. This site has forums for chatting about everything from current news events to celebrity gossip and of course the occasional mention of Mr. Cooper! There are links to blogs (add yours, if you have one) video clips and AC pictures galore.
