a little bit of everything....

Okay, maybe not EVERYTHING, but just a few things on my mind. I'll probably add a more cohesive post concerning some of these topics.

Anyone keeping up with the Caylee Anthony case? I try to catch the latest on Nancy Grace, and I'm so ready for the case to come to a conclusion. I don't know what to think anymore, but all I know is that it sickens me when someone can hurt a child.

To all you football people out there, enjoy the season! My best regards go out to Tom Brady as he's out for the season with a knee injury that will require surgery.

Other than that I really don't know much about what's going on. Anyone care to share any topics of interest feel free to do so!

Hey all, I made this banner tonight. It's a "Friends Only" banner you can use on Livejournal (that's the only sites I've seen these types of banners on, but feel free to use anywhere you are able to)

Brief Politics

I'm going to keep this brief for many reasons.

1. I'm tired of politics at the moment; who cares if Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant, I know I don't.
2. I want more from a candidate/vp candidate than a good public speaker....some people are born great speakers, other learn to be...doesn't really give insight on what I want from a candidate
3. I rarely talk about politics from a personal view point. It's one of the few things in our lives that we are NOT obligated to share and can keep to ourself.
4. I'm tired of hardcore people on both extremes of the politcal spectrem thinking that they can go all off and "speak for the rest of us". Sure I'm big on free speech, I'm not saying they don't have the right to do that, it's just quite annoying.

So I watched bits and pieces of both the Democratic National Convention as well as the Republicn National Convention; and well I really don't know where I stand on the political scale.

Feel free to share your views and opinions of both conventions here. Remember to be respectful of other's view points; what you think may not be what the next poster may think, and it doesn't give any insight into their competency or awareness, or anything like that, just their entitled view and opinion on the subject manner.

What we have here, is a failure to communicate...

Hey folks. Once again my apologies for the lack of content on the blog. Life is hectic for everyone, and well like the title states there has been a lack of communication on my part with the other contributors (due to various reasons which aren't important.)

But I wanted everyone to know that I have not even thought about closing the blog down (I would HATE for it to come to that) I really felt like this was one of the few "drama free" blogs out there in the Anderson Cooper community, and has always been open to both consenting and dissenting opinion about the topic at hand.

I'm open to suggestions for the blog, if people WANT it to stay up and running (which I hope is the case) then it will.

Also, if there is anyone that has free time and would like to join the team, let me know! (I'm huge on team work and would love to get a great group of people to help revamp the blog and get it back up and running) I would really like to have individuals that can focus on one aspect of the blog. For example, people specifically geared to graphics, people specifically geared to AC360, a person that can focus on picture of the week and random anderson polls, as well as picture of the months, etc.

If you want to express your concerns, suggestions, and comments on the entry go for it, but if you feel the need to express them in a more private manner just use my contact table to send me a message.

I hope everything can work out and we can get this blog back to where it was when it first opened.
